I am going for it. I am getting my miles in and turning them into dollars. For September, I chose to donate my mile/dollars to the Parent Teacher Association at my school. I have been in a funk with actually running, but I’ve been getting my miles in.
I made a commitment to complete at least 3.1 miles every day for the month of September in honor of finishing up my 31st year of life. I am sticking to my commitment and I can’t believe there are only nine days left in September. Big news coming on the 30th. Something I am very excited to share about, besides my awesome birthday presents.
I am getting back to my groove in running. I ran yesterday and I ran this morning. I even got in some extra treadmill time when I had a break from teaching. That is a perk of teaching from home. Extra miles = extra dollars for the PTA.
I truly love this running and turning it into dollars for things that are close to my heart. I have a lot of things coming and a lot of ideas brewing around in my mind that are going to come out and be awesome. I am working on me and making myself better and this is just one component of that journey. I am truly enjoying this journey and I love that I am able to share it with people.
The past few weeks I haven’t been writing much, but that is changing. Here I am writing today, I am writing in a journal, and I am writing hand written letters and cards and sending them in the mail to people. It is nice to write in different forms and to keep some things away from the masses.
J is super busy with school and working. A is loving school and she is so ready for Halloween. She wants to be a unicorn. Well that was yesterday it may have changed today. She loves all things Halloween. She talks about how things are spooky and shows us how zombies walk. It is hilarious. She has us laughing so much these days. I love her spirit. She can always put a smile on my face.
I am looking forward to watching her grow. I am looking forward to cooler temperatures and maybe some running outside.
Nine more days of this month and I am so excited for what is to come in those nine days.
Until next time,
Go for a run, do something you are passionate about, be kind, be you.
