I decided to start training for a half marathon again as a way to get back into running. I have been on the treadmill every day. I am doing so well.
On Tuesday I got up so early I ended up with 8 miles in 2 hours. It was the longest run in forever. I enjoyed it. It was a slow pace. The first 2 miles were at a nice pace.
I am looking forward to being off for ten days. A vacation is looming and I am fulfilling one of the biggest dreams I have ever had. I get to cross off a few places on my must travel list. This trip has had to be rescheduled twice because of COVID but here we are going now.
I understand that cases are on the rise, but we will practice physical distancing and use our masks. We are excited about going and I can’t wait to share pictures and my experiences. I am so excited to do more travel with A. She is seeing so much at such a young age. I am glad we are able to take her places and let her experience different places. We should be able to check off three more states this time around.
I plan to continue getting my miles. I will run or walk and meet my goals daily. My goal this year is to make 2020 miles by the end of the year. I am counting all of my steps to get there. I will meet that goal before December 31st.
I am doing this for me. I want to be able to have great memories with A and J for a very long time. Taking care of me is important for everyone.
I hope that anyone reading this knows that in order for any relationship to be healthy be it a romantic, parental, or even a friendship you have to focus on you. I have found that if I am focusing on me daily and intentionally that I am happier which overflows into all parts of my life. I set aside time for my personal growth and health daily. This is improving my life.
